The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme provides a chance for undergraduates to participate in real research. Here are some ways you can benefit:
• Learn how research groups operate
• Engage with staff on speculative experiments
• Further your academic and practical interests
• Actually contribute to a field of research
• Enhance current skills or learn new skills by doing a project
• Acquire ideas for final year projects
• Influence your choice of PhD
• Obtain useful vacation experience, hopefully with payment!
• Work hard, impress and get your name on a scientific publication!
