Using your College ID Card
Your College identity card is a necessary feature of life at Imperial. It serves as a security pass, which will allow you access to appropriate parts of the campus as determined by your department. You may be required to produce your card when using various College and student facilities, and you may be asked by College security staff to show it at any time when you are on any campus. You must display your College identity card on your desk during all examinations. It also acts as the room key in Southside halls of residence.
You should carry your card at all times and ensure its safe-keeping. If your card is lost or stolen, please report this as soon as possible to the Security Office, Level 1, Sherfield Building, South Kensington Campus (telephone +44 (0)20 7594 8906 or email security@imperial.ac.uk). They are able to issue replacement cards.
