Susan is responsible for the overall administrative and planning support for the Library, with a view to ensuring the efficient management of financial and human resources. She leads activities relating to recruitment, training and development, to ensure that staff are equipped to meet the library’s strategic and operational priorities in support of the learning, teaching and research needs of the College. She prepares and monitors the Library budget, and takes responsibility for health, safety and security arrangements in the Library.

Susan has worked for Imperial since 1997. Before that, her professional career had been spent in a number of colleges of the University of London.
