Mano Jacob is responsible, along with her job share partner Angela Goldfinch, for library service provision to the Chemical Engineering and Aeronautics departments. She has occupied her current position since 2003.

She works 2.5 days a week and has primary responsibility for service provision to the Chemical Engineering Department. This includes the delivery of Information Management courses to first and third year undergraduates and MSc students, and individually tailored Information Management sessions for research post-graduates. She also has an interest in online books which she has selected and promoted successfully to the department.

Mano has worked for Imperial College libraries since 1990. She worked as Assistant Librarian Electronic Information Services from 1992 to 2002. During this period she played a major role in the College's implementation of the ATHENS Access Management System. She was also very involved with the move from the print to the electronic medium for journals, abstracting and indexing databases and reference books.
