Lakis Zervoulis is a research associate at the Health Management Group of the Imperial College Business School. He works on a HaCIRIC (http://www.haciric.org/) funded project on renal care which is a cross-national study taking place in the US and the UK. In the past, he also worked on the organisational analysis of the North West London “Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care” (CLAHRC). His research at the Health Management Group focuses on issues of organisational identity, changes and innovation, knowledge and project management.
Lakis has a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Surrey. He conducted a series of studies into processes of identity evaluation and politicisation on the Internet; in particular, he investigated the case of stigmatised sexuality in two different national contexts.
Lakis previously held research positions at Cambridge University, City University, University College London and Middlesex University working on projects related to gender role behaviour development, socially excluded or stigmatised groups, and evaluation of health care services. He has also assisted in teaching research methods in psychology at the University of Surrey.
