My research interest initially focused on
- The area of robust communication system design;
- Load control and routing strategies;
- Fault-tolerant networks and resource management, and
- Application of intelligent agent systems and distributed algorithms to solve telecommunication networks problems.
More recently my interest has focused on
- Networks monitoring strategies using signal processing techniques;
- Pricing & Resource Allocation for Telecommunication Networks using Revenue Management;
- Welfare & revenue aware resource allocation for communications networks;
- Fair and efficient resource allocation in IP enviroments; and
- Distributed sel-organisation of information and resource allocation in dynamic topology networks.
Broader interests include interdisciplinary studies into business and distribution models of new media services and management of emergent communication services and systems, and contex-aware distribution.
