Dr Henri Schildt received his PhD in strategic management from Helsinki University of Technology, where he had previously completed MSc in Engineering.

Dr Schildt's current research interests focus on emerging industries. Specifically, he has studied corporate venturing, entrepreneurship, and categorization processes. His research has dual focus on understanding both the processes of industries emergence and the strategies that help start-ups and corporation to compete in new industries.

Henri Schildt teaches strategic management on several programmes.
