Hannah Gay is the author of a history of Imperial College, The History of Imperial College London, 1907-2007: Higher education andresearch in science, technology and medicine (Imperial College Press, 2007). She is now working on a book on an important group of twentieth-century ecologists, a group that began to form at Imperial College's Silwood Park campus in the early 1970s.
