Dr Kerrigan's research includes the optimal and robust control of nonlinear, constrained and distributed parameter systems. His research is focused on the development of efficient numerical methods and computational hardware architectures for solving the resulting problems and is applied to a variety of problems in aerospace and fluid dynamics.
