Research interests:
David Sanderson’s research interests are in tectonics, tectonophysics and geomechanics. Most of his work has involved the integration of field based and theoretical studies of the structure of the Earth's crust. His current research is mainly into faulting, fracturing and fluid flow, with applications in the hydrocarbon, minerals and engineering industries. He has published over 130 scientific papers and is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Structural Geology and Tectonophysics.
