Cher Li holds degrees from Leicester (MSc Financial Economics with Distinction) and Glasgow (PhD Economics). Prior to joining the Business School, she held positions with the Univ. of Glasgow and Univ. of Strathclyde. Since Sep. 2009, Cher has been a research fellow in the UK Innovation Research Centre (UK~IRC), a collaborative venture between Imperial College Business School and Judge Business School (Univ. of Cambridge). Her research in the UK~IRC investigates the innovation activities in services (esp. knowledge-intensive business services); and studies the innovation performance at the firm/sector level (with a particular focus on the architecture and engineering consultancies). In addition, her ongoing research work concentrates on the nature/impact of university-industry linkages; creative industry/graduates; graduate labour-market flows; and the interaction between innovation and internationalisation using micro data.
