Aman is presently working with Dr Simon Schultz at the Neural Computation Laboratory . The focus of his work at this centre is sensori-motor integration, with an emphasis on the visual system. His experiments involve in-vivo electrophysiology and behavioral psychophysics.

Aman graduated with a BTech and MTech in Materials Science from IIT Bombay, India. He then attained an MSc in Bioengineering from Imperial College London, during which he worked with Dr. Simon Schultz on analysing motion processing by visual systems using random stimuli. Before starting his PhD, he worked with Dr. Carlos Brody at the Cold Spring Harbor Research Lab, Long Island, New York, on the perception of time and temporal patterns. Research Page
