I currently work part-time at Imperial, mainly working on the new Horizons project, as well as teaching on the Science Communication MSc.
I also teach, research and do science communication outside of the college. You can keep track of what I'm doing through my blog.
I've been lecturering at Imperial either full or part-time for the last six years, working with undergraduates and postgraduate students as well as postdocs. My PhD examined children's popular science books (Imperial, 2008). I also have a teaching qualification (Imperial, 2007), MA in the Sociology of Education (IoE, 2004) and BSc in the History, Philosophy and Social Studies of Science (UCL, 2003). My research tends to focus on children’s science media, but I am also developing work on science bloggers.
