An event to explore the future landscape of design management took place at Imperial College Business School.
The Desma Forum brought together delegates from universities across Europe and the US and representatives from industry to discuss the future of design management. At the conference delegates exchanged ideas and talked about collaborations between academia and organisations involved in design management.
There are many different schools of thought about design management and Maxine Myers caught up with Dr Ileana Stigliani, Assistant Professor of Design and Innovation at the Business School, to get her take on what design management is and its impact on industry. She also spoke to other academics and representatives from industry to learn more about the challenges facing design management.
