AHSC Director talks about clinical care, research and his love of motorbikes

by ,

Professor Jonathan Weber outlines his plans for the Imperial College Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC) following his appointment as Director.

Professor Weber says the AHSC will play a leading national and international role in tackling antimicrobial resistance, and the opportunities to change cancer practice.  He also explains his plans to advance clinical care through research, education and training, and tells us about his love of motorbikes.

The AHSC is a collaboration between Imperial College London and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust that aims to improve the quality of life of patients and populations by taking new discoveries and translating them into new therapies as quickly as possible.
