Rugby players gather at the Teddington Alumni event

Imperial students, alumni and staff joined together last weekend to say farewell to the College's Teddington Sports Ground.

The Alumni Teddington Event on Saturday 18 October was the final day for sport to be played at Teddington and featured rugby, football, netball and lacross matches throughout the day.

The ground, which has hosted Imperial student sport since 1988, and before that was home to teams from St Mary's Hospital Medical School (later Imperial College Medical School) is closing this year following the opening of the Imperial’s new 27 acre ground at Heston, close to the College's Harlington ground.

The new Heston site is home to the Teddington Bar, named in honour of Teddington's sporting legacy within the College.

See below for a slideshow of images from throughout the day.
