Why business leaders should think like scientists

As the World Economic Forum commences in Davos, Imperial's President shares her insights.

Professor Alice Gast has published a blog on the lessons the business world can learn from science.  

Alice GastProfessor Gast explained the motivation behind the blog: “Leaders often talk about the application of sound business practices to universities and other public services. I want to turn the conversation on its head and suggest that a scientific mindset can inform and benefit the decision-making process outside of the laboratory. Adopting the mindset of a scientist can help all of us approach a changing world.”

Professor Alice Gast, President of Imperial College London, is attending the World Economic Forum. In Davos she will moderate a panel discussion on innovation in healthcare, and participate in the Global University Leaders Forum.
