The Molecular Cell Biology group in the Division of Cancer announce a two day National Research Conference organised by The Prostate Cancer Charity, to be held on October 13 and 14 2011.
Day one
Day one of the conference has been organised in association with the Imperial based research group of leading prostate cancer scientists headed by Professor Jonathan Waxman and Dr Charlotte Bevan.
The conference will profile national and international research and includes a line up of world classspeakers. The target audience are clinical researchers, scientists and health care professionals and the focus will be the molecular biology of prostate cancer, its diagnosis and treatment.
Day two
Day two of the conference is open to the general public and the target audience for this day will be anyone interested in or affected by prostate cancer and will provide a forum for them to discuss with experts in the field about how lifestyle can help prevent and manage prostate cancer, new treatments on the horizon and how those affected by prostate cancer can help move research forward.
