Special arrangements for borrowing over the summer vacation at Central Library
Special arrangements at Central Library – please ask library staff
- From Saturday 23 June, short and standard loans may be borrowed on request by all borrowers until Tuesday 2 October, providing there are still 4 copies in the library.
- You must ask if you want any books issued for the vacation, otherwise the usual loan periods will apply.
Holds and fines
If any of your books are reserved by other readers during the vacation, you will be notified to return them by the due date shown on the recall notice and on your library record.
Please remember that long loans due Friday 5 October will be recalled over the summer if reserved by other readers, but will not have their loan period reduced to 3 weeks as during term-time, so there may be some delay in satisfying holds.
You may be required to pay a fine if a reserved book is returned late.
Please contact the library by phone or email issuedesk@imperial.ac.uk if you are unable to return a reserved book by the due date.
