Bloomberg Institute

Distinguish yourself - take the Bloomberg assessment.

About Bloomberg:

Bloomberg L.P. knows finance. As the world’s premier provider of financial information, we have leveraged our network of successful financial professionals to discover what they need to know when finding the best applicants from universities around the world. Based on their need to make the job search process more transparent, we have created BAT, covering around 12 different topics that aspiring financial professionals should know. For more information about Bloomberg go to www.bloomberg.com.

Why take the test?

In today’s job market, hard-won finance jobs are taken by the most outstanding candidates. But how can you stand out from the crowd? If you want to make a positive impact on recruiters and managers at financial institutions, you need to take BAT.

BAT has been designed in conjunction with leading global financial institutions and academics to help outstanding students enter appropriate jobs in all areas of finance. If you want to stay one step ahead of your competitors, the BAT will:

  1. Allow you to advertise your availability and score to 20,000 global financial employers
  2. Give you an independent assessment of your skills, knowledge and areas for improvement as well as the finance role which might best suit someone with your abilities
  3. Enable you to compare yourself against peers at your institution, in your region and around the world
