Perform well and you could receive an offer of a full-time position with Shell upon graduation!!

Shell Gourami Business Challenge is a week long residential event which will take place in the UK in January 2011.

It offers an ideal opportunity for candidates to get a real insight into our international organisation. Gourami is representative of Shell's culture, business principles, diversity, operations and runs true to the risks and challenges faced in the global energy industry.

Candidates will be able to hone their technical and commercial skills as they develop and present a five-year business plan for Shell in Gourami. In teams, they willl make strategic decisions and recommendations about refining operations, the development of offshore oil and gas discoveries, the supply and marketing of products to customers, as well as look at manpower and costs. They will be coached by a multi-disciplinary team of Shell professionals, so they get plenty of exposure to our people and culture, as well as time to network and socialise.

Throughout the Gourami challenge, we'll be assessing candidates performance and development as well as providing detailed, structured feedback to help them improve on their skills and knowledge further. And at the end of the challenge, if candidates demonstrate all the qualities we're looking for, they could receive an offer of a full-time position with Shell upon graduation
