Research: Mechatronics in Medicine

Opportunities

The Mechatronics in Medicine Laboratory offers opportunities for PhD students to pursue research into the medical applications of robotic and mechatronic systems. In some cases EPSRC grants may be available to fund students.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering runs BSc and MSc courses in Mechanical Engineering. These courses contain a practical aspect to their work, and students may like to consider projects developing Mechatronic surgery tools in collaboration with members of the MIM Lab.
