Mechanical engineering study is an excellent springboard for careers not only in engineering, but also in many other challenging fields. There is a lively and consistent demand for our graduates from a broad spectrum of industrial, government and commercial organisations.

Our department offers undergraduate programmes leading to an MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering. At postgraduate level, we have a number of Master's and PhD programmes.

Postgraduate Open Day

The main Imperial College Postgraduate Open Day will take place on the South Kensington campus on Wednesday 7th December 2011 at 12.30pm - 4pm (last entry 3.30pm). Each Department will have a stall where staff will be able to advise on the research and taught masters opportunities available in their department. There will also be stands giving advice on the application process, accommodation, fees and funding and we will be running tours of the campus throughout the afternoon.
