We believe that to be successful we have to attract and retain the best staff and students and support them in bringing out their full potential. At Imperial we therefore value a safe and motivating learning and teaching environment, where all contributions are equally valued.

The Equalities Unit works to encourage diversity and ensure equality is embedded throughout Imperial, through helping to develop policies, training, initiatives and development programmes, many of which are undertaken with input from our diversity networks. We also offer individual support, guidance and advice on all equality strands, including age, disability, gender, gender identity, race, religious belief, sexual orientation, as well as harassment, bullying, victimisation and personal concerns.
