Registration is now closed.
LEIS Users Meeting
25th of November, 2010
The day after the SIMS-LEIS workshop there will be a LEIS users meeting during the morning of the 25th of November. This meeting is aimed at researchers who are using or planning to use LEIS in their research and would like to know more about the specifics of LEIS analyses. The meeting will be structured into breakout groups in order to facilitate and develop LEIS projects and future discussions/ solutions in the field of LEIS. On the same day in the afternoon there will be a opportunity to visit the Materials Department Qtac LEIS instrument.
The LEIS Users' Meeting programme is now also available here.
8th European Fuel Cell Forum, 2008
This July, 2008 saw the 8th European Fuel Cell Forum, held in it's regular venue of Lucerne, Swtizerland. This conference attracts a wide range of both academic and industrial researchers in the field of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) research, and has an international audience from Europe, America and Asia. The conference covers a wide range of topics related to the development SOFCs such as - fundamentals, engineering materials, systems and applications.
This year, Imperial Fuel Cell reseachers put on an impressive display at Lucerne with a total of 11 posters and 6 presentations during the conference week. The posters and slides can now be viewed by following the links.
ENERGY FUTURES LAB
The ICL Fuel Cell Network has been created under the auspices of the Energy Futures Lab (EFL).
The Energy Futures Lab, a focal point for energy research across the College, aims to play a leading role in setting the energy agenda over the next 20 to 50 years. Its goal is to develop new multidisciplinary, cross-faculty research programmes, which will meet the broad energy challenges that we face, and facilitate the transition to a sustainable energy future.
