Help each other to prevent opportunist thefts
Following an increase in opportunist thefts on the South Kensington Campus, staff are asked to be extra vigilant:
- Please report any suspicious persons or activity immediately to Security on the emergency number 4444.
- Do not challenge suspects or place yourself at risk but pass on as much information to Security as possible, for example a description of the suspect including their clothing, and their exact location.
- Be wary of people tailgating when you enter a building via access-controlled doors.
- Always lock valuables away before leaving offices or labs and where possible lock doors.
- Never leave personal belongings unattended in communal areas such as cafes, restaurants or libraries.
- To assist the police in recovering stolen property, register valuable personal items on the Immobilise website.

Building users are advised to familiarise themselves with the location of their assembly points. For more information Fire Assembly Points.
Motorcycles
All Motorcycles must park in marked motorcycle bays.
Spaces on campus are for the use of Daily Commuters Only and not as long term parking facilities i.e. (overnight/ holidays) these Motorcycles will be monitored and if the terms are abused will be subjected to a Fixed Penalty Fine.
All Motorcycles parked on campus must be registered and displaying an Imperial College permit, any unregistered bikes on site are liable to a fixed penalty fine.
Only Staff and Postgrad Students may register, all other motorcycle users should not park their bikes on campus. To register please fill in the online Motorcycle Registration Form, if you have any queries regarding motorcycle parking please contact Toni Monte x 48915.
If a registered user leaves the college or no longer owns their bike please can they inform Toni Monte x 48915.
