NERC Centre for Population Biology

Working Groups and Workshops

The CPB encourages collaborative working groups and workshops on topics relevant to ecology, population biology and related areas.  Our aim is to draw together researchers with different but related backgrounds to explore a particular issue or idea, especially where the topic requires new combinations of skills, datasets or analyses.  We hope that mixing researchers with different skills, experience and viewpoints will generate new ideas and approaches and will progress research on the topic in question.

Working groups typically consist of up to 20 participants who might meet once or twice per annum to explore an issue in more detail than would be possible in a one-off workshop.
