Imperial College London's Wellcome Centre for Clinical Tropical Medicine is one of four in the UK set up in 1995 as part of a Wellcome Trust initiative to encourage and further research in clinical tropical medicine.

The centre has been running since 1995 and offers administrative and academic support to clinical and non-clinical professionals who wish to persue a career in the field of tropical medicine research and training.
