Flowers BuildingThe Centre for Integrative Systems Biology at Imperial College (CISBIC) was established in 2005 with funding from the BBSRCEPSRC and Imperial College.

CISBIC brings together scientists from a wide range of different fields to develop innovative interdisciplinary approaches to understanding biological problems.

The Institute of Systems and Synthetic Biology (IoSSB) is the overarching strategic body for all Systems and Synthetic Biology activities at Imperial College and plays a key role in fund raising and in graduate teaching programmes. CISBIC, which is one of the primary research arms of the IoSSB, focuses on Integrative Systems Biology at the cellular and molecular levels.

CISBIC is housed predominately on the 3rd floor of the Wolfson Building, South Kensington Campus.
