Mechanical workshop

Welcome to the Chemical Engineering Workshop Web page. We are a research workshop based in the Chemical Engineering Department at Imperial College London and we specialise in the design and manufacture of prototype equipment required for the Department's research work. We are divided into two separate areas: a Main Workshop and a Student Workshop.
The Main Workshop specialises in larger scale projects and offers a wider range of services. We can give useful advice at project conception, assist in equipment design (utilising Computer Aided Design systems) and provide a full range of manufacturing services on a wide range of machinery, including the use of Computer Controlled (CNC) machines.

The Student Workshop is a dedicated area providing advice and instruction to students, allowing them to produce their own smaller scale apparatus whilst familiarising themselves with safe Workshop practices and procedures.
