How the Imperial bloggers were selected

At the beginning of the Autumn term Communications ran a student blogging competition, open to all students at the College. The competion was promoted online, in Felix - the student newspaper, and at Fresher's fair.

Students were asked to send us 600 words about their first week of term, or to capture fresher's week in photography.

We received some great entries from across the College which were shortlisted by members of the Communications team, and Student Union.

Our student blogs were officially launched in February 2009.
