Weekday Executive MBA
The Weekday Executive MBA (EMBA) programme has been designed with interactivity in mind. You’ll attend classes every fortnight, studying with enthusiastic and motivated individuals, who contribute their own particular experience and insights. You’ll work collaboratively and test out new ideas and theories in a supportive environment where you can reflect on what you’ve learned before applying the theory in your workplace.
Programme content
Whether you choose weekday or weekend study, you’ll graduate with a thorough knowledge of all the essential business disciplines to make the transition from manager to leader. The programme content is the same for both study modes:
- 8 core courses
- 5 electives
- Project
- Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Design
- International Study Tour.
The study mode which best suits you will depend on your preferred learning style.
Learning style for the weekday programme
The Executive MBA is an intensive experience and you will be assimilating a lot of new information. The weekday programme gives you the opportunity to spend one full day a fortnight at the Business School, where you receive direct support from faculty and fellow students while learning new concepts. You take new ideas back to your organisation where you apply them and then feed back your experiences in the classroom on a regular basis. You may find the weekday programme particularly suitable if:
- You prefer to learn collaboratively, rather than independently
- You want regular fortnightly personal interaction
- You need to test out ideas in the supportive environment of the Business School before applying them in your organisation
- You live in or near to London
- You need to keep weekends free for family commitments
- Your employer is supportive of weekday attendance.
Join an information session
We hold a number of Executive MBA information sessions throughout the year on weekday evenings or Saturdays.
At each session, you will hear a short presentation from EMBA Programme Directors and enjoy a taster lecture where you can experience learning on the Imperial MBA. Following this, you will meet with faculty, current students, alumni and admissions staff over refreshments and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
